General Maintenance Mechanic (Maintenance)

Dae Sung, LLC is currently seeking a General Maintenance Mechanic to provide operations and mechanical maintenance in Highgate Springs, VT (Federal Building). Hourly pay rate is $32.00 per hour. This full-time union position offers vacation, sick leave, paid holidays and a pension plan in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Working schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm; on call after hours.

• Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
• Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Painting floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles.
• Hanging doors and installing locks.
• Replacing broken window panes and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.

• Commercial HVAC repair and maintenance of mechanical building systems including PMs, routine service calls, and overall facility maintenance.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience performing general maintenance and repair of equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Willingness to obtain Underground Storage Tank Certificate.
