The Delaware Department of Transportation is seeking a contractual experienced Full Stack Java Developer with emphasis on Back End dynamic web development, and a possibility of native iOS web app development.

• Perform the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for advanced, innovative, scalable Java web applications: analysis, requirements elicitation, full system architecture design, development, testing, debugging, implementation, and ongoing enhancements and support.
• Project oversight, including requirements analysis, documenting and translating business requirements into technical specifications, and processing through to implementation, maintenance, and support.
• Demonstrate independence after onboarding; the role will transition to hybrid work 2‑3 days per week with a 37.5‑hour work week.

• Native iOS app development using Swift 5+.

• 4‑year college degree or equivalent technical study preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience designing, developing, configuring, testing, and supporting dynamic Java Web applications.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with JDK 17+ and Java Design Patterns.
• Minimum 7 years of solid knowledge, experience, and utilization of Object‑Oriented Programming.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with full database design and administration using Oracle 23c+.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with MVC Pattern.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing with Spring Boot 3.0+.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing with Angular 16+.
• Minimum 7 years of experience utilizing Advanced SQL/PLSQL.
• Minimum 7 years of experience developing complex API, SOAP, and REST Web services.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Web Logic 14c+.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Tomcat 10+.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Apache 2+.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing Java Server Pages (JSP).
• Minimum 5 years of experience with JRE, JVM, Servlet API, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Minimum 2 years of experience implementing accessibility standards in web applications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing Git Hub/Source Tree code repository.
