Position Overview

We are looking for passionate Tennis Professionals to deliver coaching at Stratton Mountain, which features a rich tennis history and multiple racquet sports facilities, including hard courts, red-clay courts, and pickleball courts. Candidates should be familiar with both tennis and pickleball and capable of conducting clinics, lessons, and special events.

Essential Duties
  • Provide instruction for all skill levels and ages, including private and group lessons.
  • Promote and conduct clinics, lessons, and events to engage members.
  • Create safe, professional, and comprehensive tennis programs.
  • Supervise play and manage fee collection.
  • Educate students on rules, scoring, safety, and etiquette.
  • Enforce club rules and ensure proper use of facilities and equipment.
  • Address member/guest questions and concerns professionally.
  • Practice safe work habits and maintain reliable attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Complete USTA Safe Play Certification before starting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Excellent member service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of racquet sports, especially tennis and pickleball.
  • Effective teaching techniques.
Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands; occasional sitting; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; outdoor work in variable weather conditions.

Compensation

$15.00 - $35.00 per hour, plus tips. Not eligible for commission.
