7/8 Barstow Basketball Coach (Boys, Girls, Head Coach, Assistant Coach)

Barstow Memorial School is actively seeking and accepting applications for coaches to begin with the winter basketball season. Please indicate which positions you are applying for:

• Girls Head Coach
• Boys Head Coach
• Girls Assistant Coach
• Boys Assistant Coach

Applicants must be able to:

• develop a solid rapport with student‑athletes
• work cooperatively with the athletic program
• provide positive leadership
• model the ideals of good sportsmanship
• communicate regularly with the families of their players
• maintain the confidentiality of their student‑athletes
• adhere to the playing time principles stated in the Barstow Athletic Agreement
• maintain the security of our school and our materials
• arrange supervision to our student‑athletes following dismissal and prior to games and practices that happen after school

A strong knowledge of coaching principles is required.

Previous coaching experience preferred.
