Your Role: CDL Class B Driver

As a CDL Class B Driver within our Orica USA Commercial team, you will:

• Operate bulk trucks and install blasting products at local construction sites, mines, and quarries.
• Engage in a hybrid role with approximately 40% driving and 60% physical labor.
• Ensure the safe and environmentally responsible operation of equipment.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Local driving (1-3 hours)
• Early morning starts (approx. 3:00 AM – 5:00 AM)
• 10-12 hours per day, with potential overtime
• Up to 10% overnight travel may be required

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Safely hook up and unhook trailers.
• Drive emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks.
• Handle raw materials and dangerous goods responsibly.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings.

What You Will Bring

• At least one year of experience driving and/or handling materials.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Attention to detail and good math skills for inventory management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Lifting up to 60 pounds and carrying 50 pounds or more.
• Frequent bending, squatting, and climbing on/off the truck.

Your Qualifications

• Class B CDL required;
  Class A is a plus.
• Tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred (we support obtaining these).
• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Hourly Pay Range: $29-36
• Signing Bonus: $4,500
