Overview

ADP is hiring a Retirement Counselor II. In this role you will be focused on increasing revenue, and ensuring compliance by conducting targeted training to clients and their associates. Deliver prepared, concise and persuasive presentations in a variety of settings. Responsible for driving revenue by increasing participation, deferral rates and attaining rollover assets from our new and existing client base.

Responsibilities
  • Drive 401(k) participation with new and existing clients.
  • Review client detail and early assessment of client needs with the New Business Associates, Relationship Management Associates, Sales Associates and study client plan specifications.
  • Act as consultant to FA/Client in confirming and determining the meeting needs.
  • Solicit rollover assets from meeting participants.
  • Maintain FINRA licensing requirements and continuing education. Keep a high level of knowledge of investing and mutual funds.
  • Schedule all client meetings in multi-region territories. Attend pre-implementation visits as required.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all retirement services product lines including alliance partners. Stay current on new and existing 401(k) legislation.
  • Schedule and conduct 10 meetings per week, managing schedules by geography and moving to outside territories when necessary.
  • Maintain and verify reporting on client meeting, participation and rollover metrics.

    Help mentor and train junior associates.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Education - Experience
  • FINRA Licenses 6 and 63
  • 3-5 Years of directly related experience
Preferred
  • In-depth working knowledge in retirement services industry.
  • Financial services background.
  • Strong and proven presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and set schedule; strong organization and time management skills.
  • Availability to travel extensively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. Compensation ranges from USD $47,400.00 - USD $96,300.00 per year. Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
