Lunenburg Elementary School seeks a dynamic teacher who fosters a lifelong commitment to healthy habits and personal fitness. This person will provide Health, Physical, and Personal Wellness instruction to students across grades K-5. Candidates must be energetic, self‑motivated, effective educators interested in joining a supportive school community. Establishing a supportive classroom environment through positive behavior intervention practices and skills with formative assessments is highly beneficial.
We seek positive team players who are creative, passionate teachers with a sense of humor and genuine love for working with elementary students. Our district provides mentorship and a supportive administration.
Lunenburg School is part of the Kingdom East School District, located in the heart of a vibrant Northeast Kingdom of Vermont community. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have “choice” and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools—Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy—or another high school of their choosing.
We are located about 3 hours from Montreal, Boston and Portland, ME. Our region is known for breathtaking views and access to great skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and other outdoor opportunities. We are close to the White Mountains and the Green Mountains. Both Littleton, NH and St. Johnsbury, VT have numerous fine and performing arts venues. Our communities attract wholesome families, faculty and staff.
