About the RoleJoin an innovative aviation team designing and building next‑gen electric aircraft, now expanding their Electrical group and looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to take lead ownership of PCBA and aircraft electrical systems development
.
- Circuit board design from concept through to certification‑ready hardware
- High‑volt to low‑volt power conversion and distribution
- Schematic capture and PCB layout using modern ECAD tools
- Verification, validation and hands‑on troubleshooting in the lab
- Supporting system‑level testing for aircraft certification
- 5+ years in electrical hardware/product development
- Strong PCBA design background (
Altium/KiCad/Cadence
) - Experience with power electronics, isolation, HV/LV systems
- Simulation tools (
SPICE/Matlab/Simulink
) beneficial - Ability to operate lab equipment including low and high‑volt power supplies, function generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering irons, heat guns, crimping tools, etc
- DO‑160/DO‑254/DO‑178 exposure is a plus
- Your boards and systems will be integrated into one of the first operational eVTOL aircraft
- High autonomy, ownership from design through production
- Fast R&D cycles, big impact, and a team scaling rapidly
- Collaborate with mechanical, software and flight test teams
- Opportunity to shape processes, suppliers and future design strategy
