JD for Engineering Quality Auditor:

• Bachelor's/master’s degree in mechanical engineering Manager / Tool Design, or related field.
• Having more than 10 Years of Experience in Engineering Department of Manufacturing Company preferably in Injection Molding/ Plastic production Company.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality auditing or engineering in an injection molding environment
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes.
• Good understanding of Hot runner & Controller Design & Strong understanding of injection molding processes, tooling, and materials.

• Conduct audits of engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Review and verify GD&T, tolerancing, and critical-to-quality (CTQ) features in mold and machine components.
• Audit mold validation reports, PPAP submissions, and process capability studies.
• Evaluate mold and machine design processes for adherence to DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.
• Objective:
  Improve Production Engineering quality by using neutral and experienced third-party to identify quality gaps in tools/process/people, and to provide input on engineer-to-order industry quality best practices.
• Go to the ground level, and shadow a real project from start to finish.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and tools to reduce risk of quality escapes.
• Week 1:
  Monday-Friday onsite with team in VT.
• Follow Custom project with 3 day design duration from Engineering pick to release.
• Representative complexity and real order.
• Week 2:
  Mon-Friday onsite with team.
