Pay for this position is $18.11/hour. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Switchboard Operator responds to all internal and external switchboard calls in a timely, courteous and positive manner; forwards calls appropriately, contacts requested physicians and staff and communicates messages; is responsible for monitoring a variety of alarm systems; notifies outside public agencies of messages, alarms, codes, emergencies as per policies/procedures; provides answering service to a variety of agencies after hours and on weekends;
completes all other duties under the direction of the Manager, Patient Accounts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with a switchboard, medical answering service or multi‑line (2 or more) in medical office environment.
