Description:
Centralized solution for the State of Vermont to handle all Customer Communication like paper correspondence, email and text alerts, etc.
Base pay range: $55.00/hr - $60.00/hr
Required Skills- Hands on experience of Open Text Exstream Cloud, Open Text Exstream 16.4 and above
- Experience on installation and configuration of Open Text Exstream
- Hands on Experience on Design Manager/Designer, Communication Designer, Content Author, Workshop, and Job Orchestration
- Should understand Tenant and Domain concepts
- Must have advanced knowledge of Design Manager/Designer/Communication Designer
- Knowledge on batch processing
- Knowledge on Print, PDF, and email configurations
- Knowledge on scripting
- Experience on Open Text System Troubleshooting and end-to-end implementations of Open Text Exstream
- Ability to handle patching and tuning of applications
- Must have new development from scratch experience, not just maintenance development
- Experience with Data Sections, Object Flow, Sorting
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand document/template requirements, end-user needs, and workflow processes.
- Design and develop templates using Open Text technologies (e.g., Exstream, Content Server, Documentum, Stream Serve, or other Open Text platforms), focusing on layout, data integration, and branding.
- Configure and map data sources (XML, databases, APIs) for templated documents, ensuring dynamic population of content fields.
- Implement custom scripts or business logic to automate conditional formatting, calculations, and decision-based content inclusion/exclusions.
- Ensure all templates and generated documents adhere to ADA and accessibility standards. Incorporate features such as readable text, proper tagging for screen readers, appropriate use of color contrast, and alt text for images, enabling access for users with disabilities.
- Set up multi-channel output (PDF, HTML, print, email, etc.), ensuring documents meet compliance, accessibility, and branding standards.
- Conduct thorough template testing—including unit, integration, UAT—to verify output correctness, performance, and system compatibility.
- Analyze and resolve issues in template generation, data population, formatting, or integration. Provide root cause analysis and timely solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed templates, integration points, and user guides for administrators and end-users.
- Continually monitor and tune template performance (e.g., rendering speed, output accuracy), optimizing for high-volume or complex processes.
- Collaborate with QA teams and business users during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases. Address defects, provide technical guidance, and ensure templates meet functional and business requirements for final acceptance.
