At Butternut Mountain Farm
, a second-generation, family-owned company, we proudly package and ship pure maple syrup year-round — not just during sugaring season. As one of the largest packers of pure maple syrup in the U.S., we’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our manufacturing and packaging team in Morrisville, Vermont.

This is steady, hands-on work in a true food production environment — operating equipment, packaging product, and helping maintain a smooth, efficient process that supports syrup producers across Vermont, Maine, New York, and Canada.

• Operate, clean, and maintain food production or packaging equipment
• Perform repetitive production tasks with consistency and attention to detail
• Track production using basic computer/data entry skills
• Identify and report inconsistencies in materials, product flow, or equipment
• Support barrel-washing and syrup handling operations
• Collaborate with your team to keep lines running safely and smoothly
• Cross-train to grow your skills and work in different areas of the facility

• Reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute every day
• Prior experience in manufacturing, production, food processing, or packaging is a plus
• Comfortable working with machinery and following safety/quality procedures
• Attention to detail and willingness to improve processes
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for 10-hour shifts
• Team-oriented and willing to cross-train

• Schedule and Flexibility
• First Shift
  :
  Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Enjoy early afternoons and three-day weekends (Friday–Sunday)
• Second Shift
  :
  Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Not currently hiring for second shift, but let us know if you're interested for future openings)

• Depending on your role,
  occasional overtime or early arrivals may be required
  .
• We do our best to offer overtime on a voluntary basis
  , but there may be times when mandatory overtime is necessary—particularly on Fridays.
