Details
  • Location: This job is on site at our facility in Hinesburg, VT
  • Two shifts available: Saturday & Sunday AND/OR Tuesday & Wednesday, 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM. Seeking candidates who can work all four days or commit to either the weekend shift (Sat/Sun) or weekday shift (Tues/Wed)
  • Compensation: Hourly rate starting from $21/hour + 10% Shift Differential on weekdays and + 20% shift differential on weekends
Job Summary

Our Sanitation Team Members are responsible for completing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks for all necessary equipment and machinery. Duties include sanitizing surfaces, handling waste disposal, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize processing utensils, equipment, and interiors of production areas.
  • Disassemble, clean, and sanitize any required equipment using established procedures.
  • Operate cleaning and sanitizing equipment to ensure cleanliness of equipment and work areas. This includes the use of foamers, pressure washer and hoses, walk behind floor scrubber, etc.
  • Mix and/or use chemicals of proper concentrations to ensure effective cleaning/sanitizing of equipment and areas.
  • Clean common areas, restrooms, and dressing rooms.
  • Empty waste bins/ barrels and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Follow quality management standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience working in sanitation, ideally with food or involving mechanical equipment is preferred.

  • Regularly requires hands to handle or feel and finger dexterity.
  • Exposure to a variety of food facility cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to work in 38° Fahrenheit temperature and wet environment.

  • Ability to visually discern quality and cleanliness and follow food/workplace safety requirements.
Working Conditions
  • Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing plant and office environment.

    English is the primary language; training materials are written in English. For individuals who do not speak English as their primary language, translation will be provided.
