Targeting Permanent Full Time Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technicians with strong mechanical repair skills.
Compensation and Benefits- Hourly Pay: $34.00 per hour
- Sign On Bonus: $3,000
- Certification Bonus: $100 per new ASE Certification (up to $700)
- Quarterly Bonus: up to $500 every quarter - four times per year
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday, weekends off - Hours:
10:00 am – 6:00 pm (Mid Shift) - Annual Merit Pay Increases

- Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including standard maintenance, component inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers and tools.
- Identify root causes of failures and perform required repairs.
- Replace defective components as instructed.
- Maintain facility and shop equipment, assist with service island support, and other support duties.
- Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints.
- Use the Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
- Comply with federal/provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (safety, DOT, MOT).
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Vocational or technical certification, post‑secondary degree, or technical certifications (preferred).
- Basic mechanical tools required.
- Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work).
- Minimum two years of classroom training or work experience (preferred).
- Valid Commercial Driver Licence (CDL) Class A (preferred).
- Must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire (if not already).
- Pass Ryder Drug Test.
- Pass DOT Physical.
- Pass Ryder Road Test.
- Pass Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle Check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
Some positions require additional screening, including employment and education verification, motor vehicle records checks, road tests, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer assigned.
