What You’ll Love About This Role
  • Starting pay: $28.50/hour
  • PAID CDL Training– No experience? No problem. We’ll train you.
  • $1,500 Sign-On Bonus– For those with a valid CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement.
  • Overtime Pay– All hours over 40/week are paid at time and a half.
  • Make a difference– Help your neighbors get to work, school, medical care, and more.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include
  • Safely operating a city bus on scheduled routes
  • Assisting passengers, including individuals with disabilities
  • Communicating with dispatch for real-time updates
  • Ensuring passenger safety and comfort at all times
  • Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections
  • Reporting incidents, vehicle issues, or schedule disruptions
What You Bring to the Driver’s Seat
  • High School diploma or GED
  • CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement –or the willingness to obtain it
  • A valid DOT Medical Card (or ability to get one)
  • A positive attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and courteous under pressure
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with tablets
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

  • Sit for extended periods while driving
  • Lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally (with assistance)
  • Help passengers board/disembark, including use of wheelchair ramps
  • Operate in a variety of weather and road conditions
