UHS Physical Education​/Health Teacher

Position

UHS Physical Education/Health Teacher – Uintah School District. Full‑time contract position with benefits. Requires an educator license and applicable endorsements. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

• Ensure each student’s learning.
• Promote physical and emotional well‑being of students.
• Foster a positive school and district culture.
• Improve public support and confidence.
• Maintain financial responsibility.
• Perform all essential job duties and responsibilities.
• Encourage secondary teachers to devote time to extra‑curricular activities as needed to supervise, plan, and motivate student involvement.

• Evidence of educator license and applicable endorsements.
• Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts documenting a college degree from an accredited institution.
• Three letters of recommendation, including at least one from a direct supervisor, addressing the candidate’s skills in working effectively with students, parents, staff, and community members.

Salary:
According to the District Teacher Salary Schedule. Beginning:
As soon as possible.
