We're looking for a dedicated professional nurse to deliver high-quality healthcare to inmates. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing inmate health, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining health records—all while ensuring adherence to medical regulations within our correctional facility.
Responsibilities- Assess inmate health and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
- Diagnose and treat minor medical issues using current tools and techniques.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other medical regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare staff and correctional facility personnel.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Current RN license issued by the State of Utah.
- Minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience.
- Proficiency with contemporary office practices and computer skills (email, word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
- Strong grammar, punctuation, and English language skills.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical regulations.
- Successful background check.
This full-time position offers a starting wage of $28.50 an hour, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement plans, supplemental options, paid time off (PTO), an employee assistance program, and an exciting perks program.
