Technician, Field Service Technician, Oil & Gas

Field Service Technicians at Cactus Wellhead are responsible for installing, testing, servicing, and repairing wellhead equipment in Vernal, Utah. This role involves hands-on work in the oil and gas field, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and competent service. The ideal candidate will have several years of relevant experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work in challenging environments.

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination
• Customer specific required training
• Certifications:
  
  H2S, Safe Land, and DOT (when driving vehicles greater than 10,001 GVWR)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and power tools
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and around hazardous materials
• Pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and medical examinations
• Ability to wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols
• Intermediate computer, language, and mathematical skills
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English
