Regional Head of Quality F&B EAME
As our Regional Head of Quality for Fragrance & Beauty (F&B) in the EAME region, you will lead the implementation of the Quality Management strategy for the Fragrance Operations organization, including quality culture, control processes, standardization, product specifications, and quality validations to protect and enhance product quality.
Champion a customer‑centric mindset by ensuring that all quality decisions, processes, and outcomes enhance customer trust, satisfaction, and brand reputation.
Strategy Design and Execution- Provide key QM information for the definition of the Operations strategy and related objectives.
- Execute the QM strategy by adapting tactical and operational plans to the assigned region to meet QM objectives.
- Lead the implementation of procedures and methods to maintain product quality in accordance with policy, including brand standard equivalence, raw material standards, finished product specifications, and approval requirements.
- Provide testing and release services as the primary technical liaison with Operations, Science & Technology (S&T), and Commercial.
- Conduct evaluation programs within deadlines, specifications, and approved budgets.
- Conduct audits/investigations to measure compliance and correct deviations.
- Prepare and review quality sections of regulatory filings when required.
- Represent the quality perspective of Operations in critical regional projects.
- Keep current with all laws and regulations affecting ingredients and products and enforce compliance, reformulation, or retirement as needed.
- Execute the annual operating plan within the approved budget.
- Participate in annual HR processes within the regional QM organization and validate results with the Operational Manager.
- Work with Operations and HR Business Partners to build a talent pipeline for the regional QM organization.
- Drive development and promotion of regional QM talent.
- Coach and mentor staff in performance, career development, training, feedback, rewards, and other actions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- Quality Management qualifications preferred.
- Sensory science or fragrance evaluation background is an advantage.
- 10 to 15 years of overall work experience, including 5 to 8 years of progressive leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading Quality or Operations functions in fragrance, flavor, or consumer goods.
- Expertise in QM strategy design and execution, aligning quality objectives with operational goals.
- Strong background in developing and implementing quality systems, procedures, and testing protocols for compliance and product excellence.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, audits, and investigations to uphold standards.
- Cross‑functional collaboration experience with Operations, Science & Technology, and Commercial teams.
- Regulatory documentation and product compliance across regional markets.
- Team leadership, mentoring, and succession planning in quality functions.
- Proficiency in budget management and regional quality operational planning.
The primary location for this role is Ashford, UK (our Vernier, CH site is also an option).
