Position: Full-Time Bookkeeper at SOHYA Consulting
Join SOHYA Consulting Inc. as a full-time Bookkeeper, managing financial records for our diverse educational services. This role requires detail-oriented skills and proficiency in accounting software.

Located in Vernon, British Columbia, this permanent position offers a competitive wage of $28.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. The Bookkeeper will maintain accurate financial records, post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balances. In addition, this role supports payroll calculations for staff and manages invoicing for our educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain complete financial records and accounts

• Post journal entries and reconcile multiple accounts

• Prepare monthly financial reports and year-end statements

• Manage invoicing and track payments efficiently

• Process payroll for staff and external consultants

Requirements:

• College program completion in accounting or related field

• Minimum 2 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting

• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel

• Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset

• Experience in education-related business is an asset
