We’re growing quickly, expanding our office and team, and looking for a CPA who wants to play a leadership role in shaping the future of the profession.

This is not a traditional accounting role.

As an Accounting Manager, you’ll lead a team of accountants, oversee the quality and delivery of client accounting services, and serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of growing businesses.

You’ll help business owners understand their numbers, improve financial systems, solve operational challenges, and make better decisions.

You’ll also have the opportunity to influence how accounting is delivered inside a technology-enabled organization that is actively building better tools, workflows, and processes for the profession.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both people leadership and client advisory work and wants to move beyond compliance-focused accounting.

• Coach, mentor, and support a team of accounting professionals
• Review work and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy
• Provide feedback, training, and professional development
• Help improve team performance, capacity planning, and workflow management
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement

• Act as the primary accounting advisor for a portfolio of clients
• Review financial results and help clients understand key business drivers
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cash flow, reporting, and operational efficiency
• Guide clients through accounting, tax, and financial management questions
• Build trusted relationships with business owners and leadership teams

• Drive process improvements across client engagements
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI tools
• Support the development of scalable accounting workflows
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve how accounting services are delivered
• Contribute ideas that help shape the future direction of the firm

• Active Canadian CPA designation (CPA Canada) in good standing.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience reviewing the work of other accountants or leading a team
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end processes, and accounting controls
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, evolving environment

• Experience working with owner-managed businesses
• Public practice or client-facing accounting experience
• Experience with cloud accounting platforms and modern accounting technology
• Interest in automation, systems improvement, and AI-enabled workflows
• Leadership experience in a growing organization
