Tolko is searching for a skilled Financial Accountant to operate from our Vernon, British Columbia, head office. This opportunity is ideal for a CPA with five years of dedicated experience in financial operations.

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing financial data and ensuring accuracy for our leadership's decision-making. Your responsibilities will include not just preparing financial statements but also conducting financial analyses and supporting audits. We need attention to detail and a robust understanding of cost control and consolidation principles to thrive in this challenging space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create monthly financial statements and conduct analysis

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

• Review account reconciliations and vouchers

• Maintain accurate journal entries, including consolidations

• Prepare reconciliation and audit work papers

Requirements:

• CPA designation, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience

• Expertise in accounting practices and financial analysis

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Power BI

• Knowledge in the forestry industry is advantageous
