The District of Lake Country is looking for an Accounting Clerk I to ensure accurate financial records for the municipality. Candidates should have two years of accounting experience and at least one year of post-secondary study in Accounting or Business Administration. Proficiency in accounts payable, utility billing, and property taxation is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records

• Process bill payments, purchase orders, and journal entries

• Reconcile utility accounts and property tax payments

• Answer inquiries about financial matters and policies
