Co-op Student in Assurance & Accounting

Launch your accounting career as a Co-op Student with MNP in Vernon, BC, starting January 2028. Gain hands-on experience in assurance and accounting while developing essential skills.

This full-time position offers an incredible chance to work closely with a diverse team at MNP, a leader in national accounting and advisory services. As a Co-op Student, you'll enhance your technical skills in compilations, audits, and tax preparation, contributing to meaningful client engagements. Expect to interact with clients, assist in financial reporting, and help streamline various accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop skills in audits, reviews, compilations, and tax

• Manage new client files and assess audit evidence

• Prepare balance sheets and profit & loss statements

• Collaborate with client teams to enhance service

• Contribute new ideas for improving processes

Requirements:

• In progress towards a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business

• Experience with accounting software is a plus

• Exposure to client service is preferred

• Flexibility to travel as necessary

• Interest in CPA PEP prerequisites
