Watts Senior Accountant - Financial Leadership

As a member of the tekmar Finance team, you'll play a core role in monthly and year-end financial statement preparation, compliance oversight, and data analysis. Your problem-solving and analytical skills will be key in navigating complex financial data, allowing you to provide insights that drive effective decision-making. This position requires strong collaboration with various departments to ensure financial reporting accuracy and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close processes and prepare accurate financial statements

• Oversee inventory accounting and cost analysis activities

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures

• Support annual operating planning and financial forecasting processes

• Prepare compliance documentation for taxes and internal controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Preferred CPA designation with a strong accounting background

• 7+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting

• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial analytics tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
