Position: Clerical Role in Recreation Services
Join the City of Vernon's Recreation Services as a temporary part time Recreation Clerk.

Your role will involve cashiering, clerical duties, and supporting the community's recreational activities.

This position is integral to the department, reporting directly to the Manager, Business Services. You will play a key role in performing essential operations, including cash handling and registration processing. Your experience with public interactions, office practices, and relevant software will be crucial for executing responsibilities and enhancing community services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue tickets and receipts with attention to detail

• Prepare daily reports and bank deposits accurately

• Utilize Parks and Recreation Management Software for registration

• Respond to inquiries and provide routine information

• Operate standard office equipment proficiently

Requirements:

• Certification in Office Administration or similar

• At least six months of relevant cash handling experience

• Exceptional typing skills (minimum 40 words per minute)

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

• Flexibility to assist during emergencies
