Join Vernon Health Centre as a relief part-time Administrative Services Assistant. This role emphasizes providing essential clerical support for Mental Health and Substance Use programs during day shifts.
This part-time position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who is eager to contribute to healthcare. You will be responsible for client scheduling, data management, and ensuring supplies are ready for clinical teams. Your effective organization and multitasking abilities will enhance the operational efficiency in a vital healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with scheduling and client related inquiries
• Handle data entry and routine correspondence
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
• Coordinate delivery logistics for medical supplies
• Provide exceptional reception and administrative assistance
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and office administration certification
• One year of related experience or equivalent training
• Typing speed of at least 40 nwpm is necessary
• Valid BC Driver’s License required
• Flexibility for casual and on-call work
