Product Manager

Salary Range: $85,000.00 To $ Annually

As Product Manager, you will lead the planning and development of King Fisher's product lineup, translating dealer and customer insights into innovative features, models, and options that drive market success. Working closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Sales & Marketing, you will manage product roadmaps, coordinate launches, and guide projects from concept through production. This role combines strategic product planning, hands‑on project leadership, and market analysis to ensure our products continue to deliver exceptional value and industry‑leading customer experiences.

This role is based at our manufacturing facility in Vernon, BC.

• Manage the detailed development of the product line - model year planning, specification creation/maintenance, option strategy, and feature prioritization - preparing recommendations for approval.
• Act as the voice of the dealer and end customer, translating market input into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Lead styling and soft‑goods development, option/SKU portfolio management, and product launch coordination from concept through production.
• Provide cross‑functional project leadership: drive schedules, communication, and alignment across Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Sales and Marketing.

• Develop and maintain the detailed product roadmap: model year planning, option strategy, and feature prioritization across the lineup; present recommendations for approval.
• Gather and synthesize market input - dealer feedback, warranty trends, and competitive benchmarking (specs, pricing, margins) - into actionable product requirements and business cases.
• Write clear product briefs and requirements for new models and running changes; serve as the single source of truth on scope.
• Manage the option/SKU portfolio: rationalize low‑volume options, propose packages, and support pricing decisions with margin and take‑rate analysis.
• Develop parts sales SKU pricing recommendations and strategy.
• Manage the special projects process: evaluate dealer‑submitted requests for custom features on existing models, assess feasibility, fit, and value; prepare pricing and quotes for approval.
• Manage approved projects through delivery: coordinate procurement of required components and manage execution through production.
• Lead styling and soft‑goods development: upholstery patterns and materials, decal and graphics packages, and colour programs, from concept through production‑ready specification.
• Manage new vendor identification and setup for product‑related suppliers (upholstery, graphics, components): sourcing, samples, qualification, and onboarding in coordination with Purchasing.
• Serve as the central point of contact for product projects: manage project schedules and meeting cadence, ensure deadlines, status, and next steps are clearly communicated, and keep cross‑functional team members aligned on the plan.
• Coordinate product launches with Sales and Marketing: positioning, naming, spec sheets, and dealer training content.
• Track post‑launch performance (model mix, option take rates, warranty signals) and feed learnings into the next product cycle.
• Support company annual Hi‑5 goals.
• Always follow WorkSafeBC and King Fisher Boats safety policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, engineering, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years related experience in product management, product planning, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Marine, powersports, or RV industry experience preferred.
