The District of Lake Country is hiring a Tourism Student for the summer of 2026. In this role, you'll provide customized service to visitors and promote local attractions. Your strong communicative abilities and passion for local culture will empower you in effectively representing our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and residents warmly at the centre

• Identify needs and deliver informational services

• Uphold a superior standard of customer service

• Respond to inquiries through various channels

• Manage mobile visitor services equipment setup

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in Secondary or Post-Secondary

• Ability to safely move 30 lbs.

• Class 5 licensed driver with a clean record

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

• Self-starter with a collaborative spirit
