Overview
Reading Mentors support newcomer children and parents with their reading and English conversation skills.
Responsibilities & CommitmentsReading Mentors support newcomer children and parents with their reading and English conversation skills. The time commitment is a weekly commitment of 2 hours one evening a week (Thursday, 5‑7 pm) for 6‑8 weeks per session. Volunteer orientation:
January 29.
- Weekly on Thursdays, 5‑7 pm.
- Duration: 6‑8 weeks.
- Willing to undergo background or police records check.
- Over the age of majority in the province of opportunity.
- Provide 2 references.
On‑site Address: 2800 30th Ave, Vernon, British Columbia V1T 8S3.
