Become a Meals Coordinator with School District No. 22, working 7.5 hours weekly to ensure healthy lunch distribution for students. This part-time position runs Monday to Friday and includes varied hours.
In this vital role, you will sort and distribute lunches, maintain a safe kitchen environment, and supervise student helpers. You will also communicate important information through newsletters while ensuring compliance with health regulations and accurate financial record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort lunches for timely distribution to students
• Follow health regulations in meal preparation
• Supervise and train student helpers effectively
• Photocopy and share program updates with students
• Maintain organized records of all program participants
Requirements:
• Grade 10 completed as a minimum education
• Food Safe Certificate required
• Previous experience in food service preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively
