This full-time, exempt role requires a strong commitment to supporting Indigenous learners and those with varying abilities. Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field, complemented by extensive teaching and administrative experience. As the District Vice Principal, you will execute compliance procedures, provide mentorship, and implement strategic goals for equitable access to education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support the Inclusive Education department initiatives
• Oversee compliance with educational policies and guidelines
• Mentor staff and coordinate behavioral interventions
• Respond to crises and advocate for student needs
• Collaborate with community agencies on special services
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Special Education or related field
• Minimum five years teaching experience
• Experience as Principal or Vice-Principal
• Strong knowledge of Inclusive Education policies
• Valid BC Driver's License
