Certified Early Childhood Educator On-Call

Join the Okanagan Indian Band as an On-Call Certified Early Childhood Educator, focusing on enriching children's physical, emotional, and cultural growth.

This role offers flexibility with up to 37.5 hours weekly.

In this position, you will design and implement quality educational programs that align with the center’s philosophy. • Develop quality programs to foster child development

• Encourage participation and cooperation during activities

• Establish and maintain a safe learning environment

• Monitor health and safety, ensuring proper hygiene

• Collaborate with parents for enhanced child progress

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Educator Certification required

• Experience in daycare settings preferred

• Familiarity with First Nations communities beneficial

• Current First Aid Certificate required

• Criminal records check with vulnerable sector clearance
