Position: Vice Principal for Inclusive Education

This full-time, exempt role emphasizes your leadership in implementing inclusive practices for Indigenous learners and those with disabilities. Candidates are expected to hold a Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field, coupled with a minimum of five years teaching and administrative experience. You'll work closely with the Director of Instruction to foster school support, compliance, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Inclusive Education department's strategic efforts

• Monitor compliance with guidelines and policies

• Mentor and support education staff with interventions

• Address emergencies and support student advocacy

• Collaborate with external agencies for comprehensive services

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Special Education or related field

• At least five years of teaching experience

• Previous experience as Principal or Vice-Principal

• Comprehensive understanding of Inclusive Education guidelines

• Valid BC Driver's License
