Kindergarten Teacher at Okanagan Waldorf

This full-time, temporary role focuses on implementing the Waldorf curriculum emphasizing holistic child development. Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of relevant teaching experience and either Waldorf certification or certification under the BC Teachers Regulation Branch. A love for nature and skilled classroom management are key to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver Waldorf and BC curriculum lessons

• Encourage fine and gross motor development through play

• Actively engage with students, parents, and faculty

• Plan and execute class and school-wide events

• Foster a supportive and respectful classroom culture

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in Waldorf Kindergarten

• Valid Waldorf Teaching certificate or BC Certification

• Interest in outdoor programming and daily rural excursions

• Involvement in an AWSNA/WECAN approved training program

• Capability to lift up to 75 lbs
