Join Okanagan Waldorf School as a Kindergarten Class Teacher, where your primary responsibility will be nurturing students through the Waldorf educational approach. You’ll engage children in meaningful work and active inquiry while promoting their fine and gross motor skills. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of teaching experience in a Waldorf setting and be motivated by developmental and pedagogical theories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Waldorf and BC curriculum lessons

• Foster free play and meaningful work opportunities

• Assess and report on student progress regularly

• Attend faculty and department meetings consistently

• Develop positive relationships with parents and staff

Requirements:

• 3-5 years teaching experience in Waldorf Kindergarten

• Waldorf Teaching Certificate or valid BC certification

• Ability to work outdoors in varied terrains

• Completion/enrollment in Waldorf Early Childhood Training

• Capacity to lift up to 75 lbs
