You will hold a special responsibility position within the district, with an emphasis on collaborative programs aimed at enhancing educational inclusion. Key to the role is providing diagnostic services and coaching staff on best practices while coordinating with pre-K and post-secondary services for students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish liaison with preschool and post-secondary services
• Advise on Individual Education and Behaviour Plans
• Assist in accessing community supports for students
• Provide knowledge of inclusion resources throughout the district
• Oversee programs in specialized resource settings
Requirements:
• Master's Degree or PhD in Educational Psychology
• Coursework in Level C Assessment
• Eligibility with the British Columbia School Psychologist Association
• Commitment to support students' diverse needs
• Encourage proactive teaching and early intervention practices
Enhance educational success for all students by fostering inclusivity as a District Educational Psychologist.
