Job Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in helicopter maintenance, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves performing inspections, repairs, and modifications on various helicopter models (mostly light-intermediate), ensuring compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and other applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Routine and Scheduled Maintenance: Conduct inspections, repairs, and overhauls on helicopters according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, structural, and avionics issues, and implement effective solutions.
Maintain Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain maintenance records, logbooks, and other documentation in accordance with CARs and company policies.
Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and management to ensure timely and efficient maintenance operations.
Ensure Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with relevant aviation standards.
Support Special Projects: Opportunity to work on various projects across our sister companies if desired, such as Finnair, Heli Packers, and Wildlife Capture, based on interest and availability.

Key Requirements
Certification: Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License (M1, M2).
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in helicopter maintenance; experience with specific models such as Airbus H125, Bell 206, or similar is an asset.
Technical
Skills:
Strong knowledge of helicopter systems, components, and maintenance procedures. Proficient in using maintenance manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Communication
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to work on various projects and adapt to changing priorities; occasional travel may be required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
