The position supports the Senior Water Specialist and collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams in environmental, lands, and technical services. Key responsibilities include water sample collection, underground water monitoring, and data management for various mining and environmental initiatives. Gain hands-on experience while enhancing your skills with hydrogeological investigations and contributing to governance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and record water samples for reporting
• Monitor underground and site-wide water balances
• Prepare charts and memos for water management
• Assist in hydrogeological investigations and risk management
• Coordinate projects and oversee contractors
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Engineering
• 1-3 years relevant experience, preferably in mining
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Eligible for registration as a professional in training
