Lift Operator

Lift Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mountain chairlifts and the guests who use them. They spend their days helping guests of all skill levels load and unload lifts in all kinds of weather, so a love of the outdoors is a must.

Responsibilities

Operate assigned lifts safely and efficiently

Provide guests with courteous and friendly service

Fulfill all obligations as a member of the lift operations team

Maintain the highest operational and safety standards

Perform inspections and safe operation of chairlifts

Assist guests with loading and unloading lifts

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Desire to work outdoors in a physically active role

Minimum age of 16 years old

Fluent in English with clear communication skills for guest interaction and radio use

Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills

Friendly, cooperative, mature, energetic, and dependable

Ability to remain calm under pressure and react quickly with sound judgment

30–40 hours per week (full-time)

Operational hours can range from 7:00am to 10:15pm

$18.25/hr
