Expert Medical Laboratory Technologist

Position: Expert Medical Laboratory Technologist Wanted
Become part of Interior Health's dedicated team as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the picturesque southern interior of British Columbia. Enjoy a culture of collaboration while providing essential laboratory services.

In this role, you will perform a variety of laboratory tasks—including both routine and complex testing—as a qualified MLT or practicum student. Your daily duties will involve greeting patients, managing specimen collection, and entering critical data into lab systems. You will also play a key role in maintaining instruments and fostering training within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute complex laboratory tests and procedures

• Greet and assist patients with specimen collection

• Accurately enter data into the Lab Information System

• Validate and report results following protocols

• Prepare solutions and maintain lab instruments

Requirements:

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or ongoing student

• Preferred experience in a lab environment

• Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork

• Detail-oriented in test execution

• Willingness to engage in training and continuous improvement
