Join Save-On-Foods as a full-time Pharmacy Assistant in Vernon, BC, where patient care is our priority.

This role offers 32 to 40 hours of working time each week.

In the Pharmacy Assistant role, you will contribute to delivering quality patient-centered care. Your responsibilities include managing written prescriptions, ensuring accurate inventory records, and communicating crucial information to pharmacists. Adherence to company policies on merchandising and operations will be essential in maintaining service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process written prescriptions and refill requests

• Enter all prescription and patient details promptly

• Oversee ordering, receipt, and return of stock

• Conduct checks for expiry dates and inventory

• Communicate essential allergy and billing information

Requirements:

• Pharmacy experience is advantageous

• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data

• Must comply with operational and merchandising policies

• Strong communication skills required

• Willingness to work full-time hours
