Long-term Care Rehab Assistant

This casual position focuses on helping residents through rehabilitative treatment under the supervision of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. You will play a crucial role in implementing programs, monitoring patient improvements, and assisting the multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have relevant education and experience, enhancing community care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement treatment plans under therapist guidance
• Monitor patient improvements and response to treatment
• Collaborate with rehabilitation and therapy teams
• Assist across various long-term care facilities
• Adapt availability based on operational needs
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program
• Relevant experience working with therapy disciplines
• Valid B.C. Driver’s License required if applicable
• Willingness to work casual shifts as needed
• Strong commitment to supporting patient health
