Vernon Rehabilitation Assistant Position

Support our long-term care rehabilitation efforts as a casual Rehabilitation Assistant in Vernon. This role involves working closely with Occupational and Physiotherapists while offering flexible hours tailored to facility demands.

We are seeking a casual Rehabilitation Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team in Vernon. In this position, you will help implement treatment plans and monitor residents' rehabilitation progress under the direction of qualified therapists. Ideal candidates will benefit from the diverse experience and training in therapeutic practices while supporting community health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out rehabilitative treatment plans

• Evaluate patient progress with therapists

• Support both Occupational and Physiotherapists

• Provide care across different long-term care facilities

• Flexibility to work varied hours as needed

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program

• Experience with relevant therapy disciplines preferred

• Valid B.C. Driver’s License if applicable

• Availability for casual shifts based on facility needs
