Senior Helpers is looking for Health Care Assistants driven by empathy and a desire to help seniors thrive. Ideal candidates are either starting their careers or have experience in healthcare settings. You will assist with daily living activities while closely monitoring client needs and providing valuable companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients in bathing, grooming, and dressing

• Assist with household tasks and meal prep

• Report any changes in client conditions

• Help clients with mobility and transfers

• Provide emotional companionship and support

Requirements:

• Current registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry

• Completion of a certified Health Care Assistant program

• Healthcare experience preferred

• Recent TB test and criminal record checks

• Capable of flexible scheduling with reliable transport
