In this Pharmacy Assistant position at Save-On-Foods, a division of Pattison Food Group Ltd., you will assist in processing prescriptions and ensuring effective inventory management. A completed Pharmacy Assistant Program or two years of relevant experience is required, along with strong communication and customer service skills to thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process written prescriptions and refill requests accurately
• Enter patient and prescription details efficiently
• Oversee ordering, receiving, and stock returns
• Follow merchandising standards and operational guidelines
• Relay allergy information to pharmacists promptly
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or two years of experience
• Strong work ethic and proactive demeanor
• Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
• Familiarity with Kroll computer software is advantageous
