Position: Resident Care Attendant at AgeCare

Your role involves observing residents, assisting with personal care, and ensuring their comfort.

As a temporary part-time Resident Care Attendant, you will report directly to the Director of Care. Your responsibilities cover a broad range of tasks including bathing, dressing, and meal assistance while adhering to strict procedural guidelines. You'll also contribute to creating personalized care plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for holistic resident support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and report changes in resident conditions

• Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal care

• Feed and support residents during meal times

• Participate in care plan development with nursing staff

• Monitor daily living activities of the residents

Requirements:

• Registered with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry

• Minimum 5 years experience in a continuing care setting

• Experience in dementia care is essential

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and transferring tasks
