We’re looking for a Mill Sales Coordinator (6 month term) to join our head office located in Vernon, British Columbia
. Our head office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.
- Some post‑secondary education in business, forestry, manufacturing or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience providing positive customer experience
, with proven relationship and conflict management skills. - Proven problem‑solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide multiple solutions to a given challenge.
- High level of ability in Outlook (email management) and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles
. - Working knowledge of up and down stream supply chain structure.
- Experience using a sales system (AX or other).
- Experience in forestry or wood products is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data.
- Experience in Dynamics
365 is an asset. - Works collaboratively with other team members.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate product supply information to manage working capital and on‑time shipment.
- Work to achieve optimum value for Tolko by effectively utilizing truck and rail car capacity and rates
. - Respond quickly and proactively to supply and demand shifts via market allocation processes.
- Use problem‑solving skills to suggest changes to individual orders when production does not meet order file.
- Liaise with sales and agents closely on customer requirements.
- Monitor customer credit, shipping cut‑offs and work on container load plans
.

- You’ll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience. The expected base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
