Your role centers on operating, cleaning, and maintaining facilities for community enjoyment.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Engineer, you will mainly work at the municipal arena complex while supporting park maintenance as needed. You will handle ice maintenance and ensure that recreational events run smoothly, enhancing the leisure experience for the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and oversee maintenance of municipal facilities

• Record information on maintenance and ice operations

• Maintain the arena’s ice surface

• Ensure timely execution of scheduled events

• Operate refrigeration and maintenance equipment

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education with at least two years’ experience

• Level 1 First Aid and Refrigeration Operator credentials

• Class 5 BC Driver's License

• Ability to handle public relations tactfully

• Strong operational repair knowledge of equipment
