Facilities Maintenance Specialist

This full-time role involves hands-on maintenance for a non-profit childcare center, ensuring efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in building maintenance and possess skills in various trades, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. You will carry out repairs, conduct property inspections, and support team collaboration for effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs on equipment, structures, and grounds

• Conduct regular property inspections of all sites

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

• Execute routine maintenance tasks and landscaping

• Assist with setups for meetings and events

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent

• Relevant certifications (Red Seal/Journeyman is an asset)

• Effective communicator with intermediate computer skills
